KENNETH POIRIER currently serves as an administrative law judge for the State of Michigan.  He previously served on active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, he worked as a policy advisor and staff attorney for the Michigan Senate, and as a policy coordinator on the staff of Michigan Governor John M. Engler.  

He has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at Michigan State University, Walsh College, and the University of Detroit Mercy.  He received his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Arts degrees, both in Economics, from the University of Detroit and his Juris Doctor from the Notre Dame Law School.
