REVEREND STEPHEN C. RECKKER is a Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit.  Born in 1937 in Port Huron, he entered St. John’s Provincial Seminary in 1959 and was ordained in 1963.  Since that time, Fr. Reckker has served the Archdiocese in a number of capacities: He was an associate pastor and teacher at St. Mary’s High School in Royal Oak, Michigan. He later served as college chaplain and instructor at Oakland Community College for fourteen years.  In 1982, Fr. Reckker became pastor of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Romeo, Michigan, and still remains pastor of that parish to this day.  

Fr. Reckker enjoys travelling throughout the United States and Europe. He is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly fishing, golfing, and skiing.
